A fallen man cannot fall further, He’s done with falling and the only direction he has left is UP. It’s entirely his decision to stay down or start rising.

You don’t have a right to buy what you want.
you only have a right to buy what others are willing to sell to you

How to Make the Most of Google Adwords

Search Marketing is one of the most commonly used online marketing methods. Google adwords – pay per click is common in online marketing as Google controls a large share of the Search industry.

Advertising on Google is simple but needs lots of experiential learning to know how to optimize your ads for maximum return on investment.

Once you identify a profitable niche, then you can use ppc (pay per click) from Google to drive traffic to your offerings.

Here is an article with links to sitepoint.com which I find useful. NB. It’s wise to open a free Google Adwords Account to test as you learn.

This series of articles will systematically show you how to:

    • Generate the absolute best keyword list for your target market
    • Use simple techniques to vastly expand your productive keyword list
    • Create highly clickable copy for your ad
    • Precisely limit the distribution of your ad to only those prospects who are most interested
    • Beat the competition with creative bidding strategies
    • Dramatically reduce costs of your campaigns while increasing clickthroughs

    The series has five parts:

    1. Part 1 – Keywords
    2. Part 2 – Create your Google AdWords Ad
    3. Part 3 – Ad Distribution and Bid Strategies
    4. Part 4 – Results Tracking and ROI Reports

it is sad that i had my Adwords account banned last month. now i have to look for alternatives *

My account also got banned. Even after appealing I only got a series of automated messages. “A bear is killed by its own weight”. Google’s huge weight and unresponsiveness to customers will lose its market share to other search marketers and alternative online advertising.

      Am currently testing Yahoo Advertising

    http://sethgodin.typepad.com/seths_blog/2009/10/the-penalty-for-violating-dunbars-law.html

Research shows that a typical human being can only have 150 friends. After 150 you start to lose track. That’s what happened to me. In my Facebook profile I got connected to hundreds of friends. At first it was to connect with people with similar interests. Which I did.

I have met some great people on facebook.

However, when my friends list reached 2,000 plus. I lost track. the updates were moving too fast. I missed on updates from close friends and relatives. A relationship is two way. friends with fewer friends on their profile would easily notice my updates but i rarely noticed their updates, since there are too many. At any one there are a minimum of 120 friends online not counting those who have hidded their status. When I go online chats pop up like there is no tommorow. it’s hard to keep track of conversation. Just like Chinua Achembe – Round and round the center cannot hold. Things fall apart.

That’s how my facebook account has been losing value day in day out.

It’s an experiment worth learning from. Since I was getting so many requests in a day. I optimized my private settings and hid my profile from search results. But Google the keeper of all secrtes still continued to index my profile and I continued to get friend requets daily. It’s a good thing to have many friends but as mentioned earlier after 150 it’s hard to keep track. I think that’s why they invented twitter. In twitter I have 1000 + followers nad I only follow less than 20 people. in this case it makes sense.
